Cate has been developing the recipes in our Gourmet Mix line since 1999...and The Mix Company has grown into "something for everyone"!
Each 100% natural mix is carefully blended and packaged weekly for freshness and wholesome flavor. We shop for the freshest, safest ingredients and use organic and locally grown ingredients when available.
By using products from our County, the Ottawa Valley, all of Ontario and Canada we are helping to sustain family farms.
Gluten-free Products
We purchase direct from Canadian companies that ensure GF status - they issue GF lab certificates with each shipment. But we also send batches of finished product to labs in Ont and Vermont for testing.
We produce all Gluten-Free mixes in a Gluten-Free environment.
Custom Products
Cate also custom-designs products for anyone needing a special diet. Often, as well as gluten you may be told there are many other foods you must avoid. Don't despair -- we are always happy to help.
All our mixes are: Gluten-free, Wheat-free, Sugar-free, No Dairy, No Egg, Yeast-free, No Soy, No corn, No trans fats, No preservatives, No MSG, all vegetable based.
Most of our products are: Low fat, good source of Fibre, Organic, Local and Kosher ingredients.
All are tested by our friends, family & neighbours for taste, texture & nutrition…only when everyone loves a new product is it finally introduced to the public.
